Spontania,you have to go a little further in your question and elaborate on what do you mean is Yahoo,losing its touch.
What do you mean is Yahoo losing its touch?
I do not have any problem with Yahoo,or things to do on the space especially (Yahoo Answers) I enjoy that quite a bit talking and giving advice on what I have knowledge about and that is all it is is advice and opinion,to give someone else food for thought to look at something from another perspective and different point of view that they may have looked at or thought of,its helping people with out seeing them as long as there is heart and substance in your reply to a certain question and especially if you have had past or present experience in a subject or category you are talking about and not just coming out of left field and not a clue as to what you are talking about that is what I love about (Yahoo Answers),so no I don't think Yahoo,is losing its touch but that is just my opinion and you asked me so there you are, the problem with you is that you are just plain bored like you told me and nothing seems to be able to keep your interest lately and that is too bad I hope you get out of your funk soon because not everything in life is suppose to be fun and games and you seem to be in that zone lately snap out ok (Smile).

You're right Yahoo Answers has lost it's touch due to all of the violation notices and account suspensions which makes people not want to come around all that much anymore.

It's probably the summer doldrums since a lot of people are away on vacation and the violation notices for minimal or non existent offenses. It has been a bit uptight lately.

I read the answers ahead of me, and I hope it is just a little "lull", and hopefully, it will become "fun" again. Maybe it is too many kids, and people gone on vacation.

It comes in waves.....good and bad, fun and kinda slow, funny and serious. Violations have curbed a lot of people's questions and answers.

Nah, i've noticed it too there are less good questions and more silly pointless questions, it seems that all the good people have left or their opinions or questions aren't being heard as much as before. it's knida' sad really.

An influx of kids due to sumer vacation, stupid people who report anything and thus chase away all the good people, and of course, trolls.
