Gemius is more a matter of technique in how you use your mind. It's pretty much known now how it works. Einstein said in effect that he was ordinary. It also makes you happier since I assume your not a fool and can't go that root. Besides a fool can have good intuition and that has the same effect. I can't understand, though, how anyone would not be curious about the world and themselves. I find that those who are usually aren't that happy in the end and their health usually goes down over the years. It's easy to be happy without the cares of life and health. If you don't have to put out any effort then you were just raised right or were naturally intuitive somehow. Yeh, I'll go with marmicaben, be a genius and then meditate and clear your mind and be happy too. No, I'm serious, that's how a genius learns to be happy. You've got to clear out what you learned every once in a while, like everyday. It's still up there somewhere, just push it back every day.

Definitely the depressed genius, but only if slightly, situationally, or temporarily depressed. I imagine long-standing clinical depression as being a very difficult ailment, just next to not being at all. Oddly though, I think it would seemingly be more fulfilling, perhaps, even easier being the happy fool. I guess I rather truly know than not know though than be happy about what is really only a facade...I wonder if this makes a lick of sense to anyone but me? Ask me again tomorrow and I might just change my mind :-). *Wink*.

Oh man, that's a good one! I would definately not want to be a depressed genius. Being happy but totally oblivious to your surroundings doesn't sound like the best either. I am going to have to go wiht being a happy fool, though.

Happy fool hands down. Fools can grow up and be wise and happy while genius are all grown up and cannot get smarter or happier. (Since they already know everything......)
