I think the buffet makes enough money otherwise it wouldn't be an all you can eat buffet. Also, as you can see with that silly hot dog eating contest, its not always obese people who eat the most. Being obese doesn't mean you eat too much, it means your body fat and body mass index are almost the same number, which is unhealthy.

No, not really. I worked at a restaurant with a buffet, and we used to have this 500 pound guy come in, and he had to drive a little cart to his table, and then his wife or the waitresses would get all the food for him. He once ate an entire pan of fried chicken in one sitting (10-12 pieces) and that was just getting started!

Can't ban alcoholics from the bar.
Don't you think the all-you-can-eat buffet is in business exactly to appeal to obese people. Those are their clients, are you insane?
Why don't you ban readers from the library and old ladies from the craft store while you're at it.

The biggest eaters are often athletic, fit people.
Kobayashi(sp?) held the Nathan's Hot Dog eating contest championship there for 7 or so years running and he's built like a runty little thing.

No, the food in these all you can eat places is of low quality and therefore inexpensive. The people at these places are either cheap or obese.

No, they are going to find a way to eat anyway, plus think of all the lawsuits. There is freedom in this country, sadly, people use this freedom to harm themselves. However, I do believe we are enabling them by classifying obesity as a disease-therefore letting them draw disablilty, etc.

no..b/c the obese are entitled to eat too...and i dont think that any all-you-can-eat buffet will allow an obese person to eat all of the food there.

Old Country Buffet would end up going out of business. So, no, that would just hurt the economy.
