I was just watching Bill O'Reilly & he had someone from GLAAD on there to apologize for calling a lesbian gang the wrong name. Is that just made up garbage or is there really such a thing as a lesbian gang? He said that 1 gang in Memphis that consisted of 4 lesbians beat a guy nearly to death, but it just doesn't sit right with me, I think I would have heard about gay gangs & I never have

Read "Goldfinger" by Ian Flemming. It has some wonderful stereotypes as well as a lesbian gang called the Abrocats !!!! Actually "Cat" burglars.

I'm sure there's some lesbian gang somewhere. However, I am also absolutely sure that Bill O'Reilly is extremely exaggerating about it.
If there are lesbian gangs, they are absolutely no different than any other gang- deplorable, and nothing more. In fact, I'd actually have to say that if I were to rank them, I'd put lesbian gangs as more admirable than the others out there- at least they're retaliating against the treatment GLBT folks often get, rather than just mindless violence. Still, it's all a sad state. Why can't we just get along?

I read about this myself. He said there were x about of lesbian gang when that was actually the number of gangs period in the area. A smaller percentage were all female gangs and only 1 was a lesbian gang.
I'm not surprised they exist, people will form gangs based around certain smiler aspects so it's unsurprising that lesbians who end up in this sort of life would group together.
However I doubt their violent behavior would be any different from that of any other gang who group together for other reasons (ethnicity for example) so it's unlikely that the fact they are a 'lesbian gang' would go largely noticed as it's not something you could really pick if a group of women were beating you up, their sexual preference wouldn't be a huge concern in that moment.

What is the world coming to that someone has to publicly apologize to ANY gang that breeds violence??? They beat someone nearly to death, and had to apologize to THEM for calling them the wrong name???? Wait, or did he apologize to the people whose name he used for them? Just curious.
But I'm sure there are lesbian gangs, strait gangs, black gangs, white gangs, Asian gangs, Martian gangs....whatever, if there's a group, there's a gang.

There are lesbian gangs.. they used to be big in New Orleans, but not so much any more.
