Yes it is there in the maintence chart. You first have to remove the owners manual crack it open with a little reading you will learn more about your car than you thought you could...Just be carefull you use exactly the right kind of fluid.

Yes, it should be replaced. Usually around 30,000 miles. But, if you have A LOT of miles on your car don't just change the fluid, the same thing applies if it is giving you problems. If you fall into those two categories take it to a transmission shop where they can give it the once over.

By all means yes, look in the manual most newer transmissions use an ATF fluid not greas as in older cars....
Check the manual and do it every 15-20K miles

The only "transmission" fluid I've had to put or replace in my newer model standard is brake fluid. And that's only because the line was leaking. And yes, I put it in the reservoir for the clutch line.

If you're line is leaking or you're having problems, you'll know. You're clutch will drop to the floor.

all fluids should be changed from time to time, different manufacturers say to do it at different times, depending upon the type of fluid and the type of driving, for instance a late model Chevy cavalier with synthetic fluid the change intervals are 100K for severe driving and never for normal driving. what kind of car do you have?

definitely yes. /check manual to see if it should be done every 60000 miles or whatever and then do it.

uh...manual trannies don't have fluid. Just gears and greese.
