My kids wrote on the back of a magnet and then put it on the fridge and I just moved the magnet today and there's a huge area covered in ink. I tried the Magic Eraser with no luck and have no idea what else to try. It's a horrible mark and I would appreciate any help in getting it off. Thanks for your ideas in advance!

Have you tried nail polish remover?

If nothing works, just cover it with a magnet.
Good luck.

Expo White Board (dry erase) Cleaner is my secret ink stain lifter. I've found nothing better for removing all types of ink from just about any surface.

I discoved it's magic while trying to remove ball point ink stains from the pockets of my husband's dress shirts.

Use a soft cloth with a little lighter fluid. Cigarette or BBQ lighter fluid works good. Just be careful with kids around.
