Go outdoors and take 10-12 very deep breaths...stretch your arm overhead and touch your hands. You'll feel a difference in your body and brain from the intake of oxygen and it will reduce your blood pressure. Focus only on the deep breathing....what it will do for you is put things in perspective and change your attitude , reduce the anxiety...and that's what you need to do. Not a cure, but a great remedy.

Consider thinking that you are an expert on whatever the thing is that makes you feel that way. If in a group, think of them all in their underwear and you will lighten up. Just think that you are not the only one who might feel that way and that you are a member of a group or even the one who knows the most about whatever is happening. Calm down and take control.

Try to get involved in a good TV movie, or read an interesting and intriguing book. Also, exercise or a brisk walk help with anxiety. Take deep breaths and learn yoga.

Well you could always try watching TV or something like that but the best thing to do I think is to hang out with a friend and talk or go out and do something fun with your friends and you'll forget all about it... at least for a couple of hours... lol

I yammer on about just about anything... once in a job interview I told my future employer about how when I was delivering my son, right before I gave the final push he started crying but he was still inside my vagina.
