Scan a picture of a mustang and print it on transfer paper, then use that for some of the quilt squares. Or you can print right onto printer fabric, available in craft stores.
I make my own printer fabric but it's slightly more work. I buy white Egyptian cotton and treat it with chemicals from Dharmatrading.com, then iron it onto freezer paper, tape that to card stock and run it through the printer. Then it gets a vinegar bath and it's ready for sewing.

I've seen it here at a quilt shop in AZ. I almost bought the FORD trucks fabric, but didn't go on Sun. when it's 25% off.

I know of a source for fabric with several muscle cars on it, but not sure if she has mustangs only. Although you never know what she may have as she mostly carries only car fabrics. If you are interested her name is Kathy Karn out of Lakewood, CA 562-865-6168. I found her at a car show.
