All "war stories" are true, but most are not factual. The environment of war changes the perceptions of those who participate.

I had the privilege of growing up with survivors of WWW I and WWW II as well as the Koren war and I was a teenager when the Vietnam war ended.
I heard many stories told by those old soldiers, I felt like I was in the fox holes with many of them as they related what happen.
I also live in Honolulu Hawaii for 2 years, then the tours guides were drivers of those ships that went down and we, us children. were part of the story that was related first hand.
Some were sucked out of the ship into the ocean because the bomb cause a hull breached.
Others died from being beheaded, some died from fire and smoke.
Everyone of us participated in it, like it or not.
It was a reality of war.
So when I became a teenager, and leaned from school about those wars that had been fought. I thought of those men and women who lost their lives, as well as the civilians who died there too.
War is an ugly, no one doubts that, but in truth, it is in fulfillment of bible prophecy and most people would like to discredit the war stories so they won't listen to bible prophecy and live forever by beating their spears into plow shears.

There is a lot of documentation available to research and verify events from WW II and after. I have written two books on this subject. If you wish to contact me, I'd try to help.
