No! I have seen dogs become aggressive towards another dog many, many times. This is but one example of intra-species aggression.

No - very untrue. Look at the human animal and see all the violence they subject each other to AND towards other animals. From what I have seen in nature the human animal is probably the most aggressive within the species.

False.
In areas of limited resources, you will find animals fighting with their own kind. The best example of this is people, LOL.
Another example, from my front yard, is the California Harvester Ant. A worker gets along just fine with other workers from the same nest -- but will fight with a worker from a different nest (don't ask me how they tell each other apart; they look alike to me!).

Just look at any species during rutting season. Males fighting with males all over the place. One of my male deer actually gored one of the females to death this season.

Very false. Darwin elucidated the reason why intraspecies conflict is so prevalent; reproductive success is with the variants giving rise to your own gene pool.

no that's not true. it can also be aggressive against animals of the same species. esp when they want to dominate their pack like wolves or dogs, or protect themselves from harm's way.

No. Male tigers and male apes for example often will try to kill step children born from a previous mating of their present mate.

Nup, false.
They show aggression to the same species when mating or when they fight over a mate.

False. Our lab will not tolerate any other dogs in our home or yard. The black widow spider kills her mate. You can't put 2 tetras in the same aquarium.
