Absolutely not. George Bush is the President of the United States. How is saying that someone will follow the same path as a two term president trying to create fear? Well, in this case maybe. However, McCain has gone out of his way to embrace he Bush policies, e.g. sustain the tax cut giveaway and appoint more RWNC justices to the Supreme Court. Since McCain is RUNNING on the Bush record of borrow and spend tax giveaways and more divisiveness regards social issues - pointing that out is not fear-mongering.

No, its a sales tactic used by Train Air-conditioning sales reps. Is Global Warming Real? Of course, its well documented. Is the total cause man made? Doubtful, there are things like a decaying orbit around the Sun that might play into it as well. Should we try to reduce emissions, known to deteriorate the ozone layer? Absolutely, with reasonable, obtainable objectives that don't cause more harm than the emissions themselves and provide equal standards for all nations generating green house gases. Is Al Gore the savior of the planet? No, but he is bringing attention to a real ecological issue that we should be working on, so I say good for Al, so long as he doesn't try to be President, I'm fine with his Green Movement.

Yes. It is an extreme view intended to distract people away from the fact that we are not building more refineries on purpose. Nancy Pelosi is one of those that voted against building more refineries. We are going to pay for it big time and rue the day we ever heard of Global Warming.

Come on Abu where were all those little Marxist anti-capitalists going to go when the iron curtain fell, they had to have some pet project to latch onto. Thatcher started the global warming religion in the 70's to break the mining unions and the anti-capitalists found it a perfect platform to break capitalism as well. It is really that simple and now the left in the US use it as the catapult to launch them into office. Its actually very interesting how it all ties together.

Most importantly, do you feel that it is just a tactic? Do you think that we live in a clean environment. Do you think this "global warming" is just a hoax. If you think that, why would there be a hoax. Is the War in Iraq a hoax? Was the moon landing a hoax? Was the holocaust a hoax? Was slavery a hoax? We should question everything that our government tells us, huh?
Look at the facts. The polar ice caps are melting at a rate never imagined. The forests in Canada and Alaska are dieing. It will be a chain or a domino effect. 1st the polar bears will die, flies and mosquitoes will be able to multiply unchecked. Diseases an infections will begin, and already have, develope faster then scientists can control them. The mother EARTH has a virus, we are the virus, and she will attempt to rid herself of the virus, and for good reason. We have done nothing beneficial to this planet, we have only contaminated it, and ourselves.
As for the antarctic expanding, I don't know where previous poster got info, like to know source.
If it is a hoax, why all these reports of oceans rising and WHO HAS TO BENEFIT FROM IT????
Think for yourselves. It's your children and grandchildren who are inheriting this planet, not you and I. If you don't love them, you will do nothing.

Yes, most independent world scientists state global warming exists, but it is natural and not as bad as it is said to be. It was made into a political issue by Al Gore and other Democrats so he and other Democrats could benefit from it.

They have managed to successfully use their fear mongering to lock in every single over-the-top environmentalist's vote in the country.

Well, duh.
Sure, on the right, there's the guy's going "If you don't give up some of your rights and freedoms, there's these terrorists who'll blow you up, but I can stop them." And, on the left, his twin brother in berkenstocks is all going "If you don't give up some of your rights and freedoms, the polar ice caps will melt, and you'll drown (even if you live in Denver), but I can stop it."
