I am 230lbs. and bought a larger spring from Race Tech, but didn't have the money to buy the fronts yet. Will it ride like crap or possibly be dangerous? I am riding this weekend.

No, You might notice the front being soft but it shouldn't afect your control. I have a KLX300R and I only replaced the rear spring.

We used to drill out the top shock cap bolts and put in 5 or 6 psi air pressure with a tire valve blew out lots of front tube seals too.. Matched set of springs are always better

no worries, you might have to dial in the front to help out with the new rear but its not gonna effect ya that much. trial and error thats all i can tell ya.
