Personally i don't think with the way that English music is at the moment its possible to come to a conclusion.
There are just so many bands out there! Little bands thrashing away in garages, posting on their various myspace accounts, you just have to scratch the surface and there is so much unknown talent out there at the moment!
But of course there are the ones that we just keep coming back to, from the stadium rock of Led Zep and Queen to the soulful guitar licks of Eric Clapton and the fierce strumming of the Clash.
There is just so many bands and not enough open ears and minds.
