Today's View had Elisabeth defending Bush's working to get Scooter Libby get off scot-free. When Whoopi reminded her of Bush's words, "If the person has violated law, that person will be taken care of. Leaks of classified information are bad things" she was still so pig-headedly adamant that Bush was right.
Is Elisabeth really this blind or close-minded?

elisabeth's 'view' is defintely swayed and biased by the republican party. nothing bush says or does is wrong. i don't know how you can brainwash this into a person, but this is certainly the case. yes, it will probably be a welcome change when she finally goes on maternity leave. but the show is called 'the view' and the doggeral by whoever is on that panel will continue to litter the airwaves with tradewinds that wreak of low tide in bridgeport. just listen and laugh. the ignorance emitted from her piehole is sometimes quite entertaining.

if she's ever removed from the show, i wonder if GW will back her up the way she's defended the GOP.

Elisabeth is too naive. I thought that people who are on talkshows have some brains, obviously i was wrong.
She sounds like a broken record, she talks with no substance, I am amazed that after all the lies and lives we lost in Iraq she is still defending our reason for being there.
I feel she is stupid. Have no sence of right and wrong.
After all our soldiers are dying every day, but that does not concern her very much.
Bush says the Libby's sentence was too harsh. What about are soldiers who are in Iraq for over a year, or have to go back after being home only for short time. To me that's more harsh, then being in jail where Libby belongs.
After all this is a country with laws, and nobody should be above the law. Bush keep saying we are fighting in Iraq for the Iraqis so they can have freedom, we have to be careful not to lose our freedom in the process and not too be brainwashed.

First of all, Libby didn't get off "scot-free". He's paying a fine and is on probation.
Elisabeth stood up for what she believes. I'm not saying I agree with her. If Whoopi & Joy can give their opinions, so should Elisabeth - whether you like it or not.
Not a question of being blind or closed mined. It's simply giving HER view just like everyone else on the panel. A bunch of windbags who have no authority. They just blow hot air - all of them.

As if that surprises me, though I never saw it. Elisabeth's head is soooooo far up Bush's rear, it is not even funny. Apparently she doesn't care if he breaks the law, covets, murders, whatever. Bush could even have Madonna and Fergie in a threesome, and Elisabitch would still defend him.

What's it going to take to change her mind? Converting back from Christianity, I suppose (no offense to the Christians on here, of course.)

Yes, she is extremely close minded. She is totally in love with Bush and his wanna be fascist government.

That ship sailed along time ago. Elizabith will tow the Party Line no matter how egregious , ridiculous or disgusting it is.
That's what makes her so offensive. She is without reason.

How about both? How did she get a job? I trust she will take a long vacation when she has her baby. Maybe she could learn some common sense while she's gone.
