i have just been reading through the answers of my previous few questions and the results are shocking....... so many phobias and isms....
all those in favour say AYE or AMEN or something.......

I have sometimes been truly shocked by things I've seen on here ... and I really thought that nothing could shock me anymore. What is quite worrying is that these "opinions" are often those of young people who, one would have hoped, had been brought up in a more tolerant and politically correct world than the previous generation. I can only conclude that those opinions (prejudices) have obviously been handed down BY the previous generation and will be self- perpetuating ... which is rather sad.

It is called stereotypes and almost everyone has one. I live in America ( trust me I am not bragging) and the British being polite is just another stereotype. Just like the asians are the smart ones, the blacks are the criminals, the Middle Easterns are the terrorists, the gingers with no soul, etc. These are some stereotypes that I have witnessed on television. By the looks of it, it looks like YOU just stereotyped Americans by saying that we are all ignorant and narrow-minded. Not all Americans support Wales or Scotland! To sum everything up the British stereotype Americans and Americans stereotype the British people.

AMEN....Some are so narrow minded that it's amazing they comprehend anything here. They want to judge or prejudge anyone and everything. And..bless their hearts...some here are not even 12 years old. I read a marriage answer and the child said she was 11!!! Good heavens....I would not let my child here at that age.
