Well, your question isn't very detailed, but I may have had a similar experience.When the engine of my car was hot, the car would tend to jerk and sputter a bit and then stall. Turned out it was my fuel injection pump, which cost me about $650 to replace. But it would take at least an hour of driving before the engine would get hot enough for this to occur, which is why I couldn't get anyone to figure out my problem until I took the car across the country. It could also be your fuel filter, which would probably be a cheaper fix. I can also imagine this being a problem with your spark plugs. Have they been changed in the past couple years?

If you have a late model car With about 50 Thousand then you could have a bad filter or Idle control valve Check them out hope this helps,

if it has a carburator it may need rebuilt, or a new one or cleaned out, find a carburator rebuilder to check it out, most automotive places don't mess with the carburator so you have to look in the phone book to find one, they should only keep your car for 2 days to fix it
