If you have already ovulated and the egg is ready to go when the sperm arrives, then you could get a posiitve as early as 6 dpo, if the egg implants then (6-12 days is the norm), using very, very sensitive tests. I got a positive 7dpo using a really sensitive test. Remeber though, the sperm can live for upto 5 days, so if the egg hasn't been released, it can wait up there for the egg for that time.

The absolute earliest is 10-12 days after conception....but that could possible provide you with a false/positive. I would wait 16-18 days after conception that you are sure to be atleast one day late for starting your cycle!

Most pregnancy tests want you to wait until you have missed your period, but some you can take a few days before you have missed your period (First Response, I believe, is one of the more sensitive. You can tell sooner through blood tests, but that requires a trip to the doctor.

I think there is a test you can use up to about 3 days before your period is due. trying is exciting but the waiting drives you mad. Good luck.

take one just after ur missed period or 10-14 days after u think u may have conceived..it really depends alot on the womens body..everyone is different

It is when your period is due next and you can test on the first day it is due. Before that you may have tell tale signs such as sore or swollen boobs.
