Any and all he can drum up. The profiteering right wingers will milk this thing as long as they can. They don't care, haven't cared, and won't care anent the outcome or the lives lost as long as the pockets of Corporate America are lined in their greed for wealth and contempt for humanity.

What is their plan? How does the Shadow Party intend to take power in America?
They are pursuing a three-phase plan. The first two phases are based upon the successful strategy which the left used to force regime change in America during the late ‘60s and early ‘70s.
Phase One is to impeach President Bush for allegedly deceiving the nation into war. We call this phase Watergate II.
Phase Two is to force a U.S. withdrawal from Iraq and to cut off aid to the Iraqi Republic, just as Democrats cut off aid to South Vietnam after Nixon resigned. We call this phase Vietnam II.
Phase Three is velvet revolution. This is a term used in Eastern Europe to describe the sort of bloodless coup for which Soros is well-known in that part of the world. He has used these methods to topple regimes in many countries, such as Yugoslavia, Ukraine and the Republic of Georgia.
Soros’ velvet revolutions always follow the same pattern. The rebels wait for an election, then precipitate a crisis by charging voter fraud.

First of all, what benchmarks?
Second, you obviously have no idea what is going on Iraq. More and more provinces and cities are welcoming US troops and the Iraqi people are fighting the insurgents. Why? because they realize the insurgents only want power and to force their will on the people. The people know that the Americans don't want to be there, and their only motivation is to help them stablize so they can go home.
Read Michael Yon's blog for an inside look into Iraq. He is one of the few reporters still there. Additionally, an early exit from Iraq would be disasterous for America. To our security, to our interests, and to our economy. Not to mention it would be disasterous for the Iraqi's and the greater middle-east.

Easy. The liberal Dems lied to him and plotted with the generals to deceive him. Or else the devil is at fault( along with Cindy Sheehan). Cons and religious right folks always have an answer. It is called misdirection. A great proponent is Ann " 6 inch" Coulter
God bless America

Listen a_ss wipe, stop blaming President Bush, you damn half brain liberal! This problem were having has been caused when Bill Clinton was in the white house. Matter of fact 9/11 was due to what Bill Clinton said to Saddam, on Feb.17, 1998 Bill Clinton tells Saddam "That if he doesn't rid himself of the WMD we will need to use force." Also bin Laden made the comment that he witnessed the weakness of Clinton while terrorist raged hits during the Clinton administration, and Clinton done nothing. Ahhh, is this confusing to you libs. Your half of brain cannot focus on truth, can it.

Bush doesn't set the benchmarks, the Generals in the field planning the operation do. The President (any President) does not write military policy, he simply 'endorses' it. If they're not reaching their benchmarks in the set time-table (which I want proof on in the first place) then it's actually the Generals who should be working on THEIR excuses to Bush.

Executive privilege? That seems to be what Bush
has been using for excuses these days.
Or watch, Cheney will make an appearance on TV &
say that 'not meeting their benchmarks' really means
something positive.

Ok, lets make this clear. Bush will continue to stay the course until he leaves office and he can dump the whole mess called the Iraq war on his successor.

It will be interesting to watch the reactions of the libs when those bombs start going off on our streets. With or without the Iraqi government our troops are keeping terrorist busy. Our best reaction would be to take the fight to Iran, via a few nukes, and stop the funding of the terrorist. Syria will buckle down after watching the smoke clouds from Iran on TV.

I don't think it will matter soon. Most Congressional Republicans are going to jump ship in September and the war will be over.
