i just got back my grade 10 end-of-year report card and am quite disappointed with some of my marks.

i DID get very high marks from a general perspective, but they really disappointed ME because i know what my capabilities are and where i didn't meet up.

i feel really bad right now. :( especially when i think of those who did better than me....even though i know i shouldnt think about that...

help.

We learn from our mistakes. Now that you know that pushing yourself as hard or little as you did did not work out, try something new. If you keep working at it you will eventually get it. Don't worry so much <3

Education isn't all reason, you have to have a feel for it. At total experience, a sense, like an intuitive sense that accesses the whole brain. That should give you a quantum leap. Betcha. I'll tell you why that is. We are really consciousness and have ideas. If we get back and look at the mind it is putting out ideas we hadn't asked for. They are the whole mind that thinks in images that we fail to use. The output is feelings, sensing something is true and pictures grasp the whole context and a sense for the material. The ideas are usually different from out thoughts which try to hold on to the images we are familiar with. Some people describe it as going outside your usual comfort zone to the higher consciousness of greater comfort zone. If what you are learning is true it jives with your whole experience rather than just thoughts, a lower level of consciousness. I couldn't learn calculus when it was just rules that I didn't know the point of, the use, the bigger picture. Or i's described as getting outside your reasoning, outside the box. That is where new ideas live, not too different always from the usual thinking, which is mostly memory, but a different perspective that at first seems foreign.

Like previously said, just focus now on the future, especially since its already in the past and cannot be changed now.
Besides, you still have 2 more yrs of high school to get that gpa to a good number so I wouldn't worry too much on that. Just enjoy the summer & keep your mind off school & grades, we got about 10 months of school time to be worrying about that.

Lots of times I think the same way when it comes to people who work & do sooo much better but you might as well think also that theres soooo much people who also has done worse.

Honey I know how you feel been there done that, but this too shall pass and you know you can do better prove it to yourself by preparing yourself for next year. Quit looking at what you didnt do and praise yourself for what you did accomplish..dont compare yourself to other people there will always be greater and lesser people than you. Be kind to yourself and now since you know the problem...start working on the solution...then you will feel alot better...no use beating yourself up over it...its done...on to bigger and better which now you know you will really try to do....hope it helps

you're only in the 10th grade and i think junior year is probably the most significant and influential of all the four years. i suggest you just work really hard. maybe this downpoint would be a catalyst in making you an even more hardworking person.

Try not to be so hard on yourself!
You still have junior and senior years to do better.
Don´t even think about school till September.
Get a good book to read and relax.
Their is a reason they call it Summer VACATION... :)
