Space alien friend.
Friend is the key word here; a robot isn't real, but if aliens exist and are friendly, then it would be very interesting to see their world and have them as friends. It would be fun.

Alien. I'm convinced an alien of intelligence would have actual emotion whereas a robot would merely replicate emotion. Not as fulfilling of a relationship in my opinion.

I have no time for this stuff I am in the middle of a clone war and my droid just dropped a nut so it worthless.Master Bader has a grip tightly around us choking us like chickens and you ask about friends.
Please send reinforcement's our warriors have been dieing hand and fist by the hands of Master Bader!
And by the way I would choose an alien as my friend!

I'd prefer an alien, because he could tell me things I don't know about his world and his culture. A robot probably wouldn't have anything new or enlightening to tell me, because it would only know what it's been programmed to know by its makers.

Robot. It could do my work and never complain. My luck the alien would be just as lazy as me.
