Thus, the last three games (5, 6, 7) of the World Series were played in November, as well as the ending of Game 4, which occurred just after midnight on 31-October. Jeter homered in the bottom of the tenth to win that game and tie the Series at two games apiece. Since he had the first big play ever in November, and he plays for the same team Reggie "Mr. October" did when he earned his nickname, he was, half-jokingly, named "Mr. November".
