What good does rioting your own city street do? Just like in LA when residences rioted their own streets? Great way to solve a problem, destroy your own home!

Well, if it is "through law" -- such as we nearly saw occur with the recent "amnesty bill" -- I would have to say that I hope that enough complaints reach my senators and representatives, before such a bill could be come law. I find it extremely important to recognize our civic duty, and be active and prudent with our responsibility as citizens to ensure our country remains intact.
But if such law ever passed, I would have to say: no, I would not riot. I might protest in whatever peaceable way possible. But bringing violence, injury, damage, and in some cases death, to our own streets and citizens is hardly a solution. Rather, such behavior disables our home, squanders and destroys our resources (be it object or human), and makes it far more easier for the realization of our defeat.
If a fight is absolutely necessary, take it to where it belongs ... at the "door of the enemy." But I hope such does not easily become necessity, and that peaceable will be the solution, because even war, however noble in cause, is a terrible waste.
(The "amnesty bill," among provisions to reward those who have broken and shown zero respect for our country's law, it also had provisions to bring about the North American Union, which would soon effectively dissolve our borders and country altogether. While world government could be a good thing, I do not think now is the time; our national ideals are far too incompatible.)
