The Sox have a 10 game lead in the AL East over the Yankees and Blue Jays heading into the All-Star Break. Are they going to hold their lead to win the division?

With that lead they should hold on. They're just waiting for Jon Lester to get back on track. Do you think Julian Tavarez will be in the rotation any longer? According to my source (Woody Paige) any team with a lead of 7 games or more in their division by the All-Star break is a shoe in to win it. So I'd say yes. I think the offense will be better, and they should hold off the lifeless Yankees.

yes of course...if they can do it in the first half im pretty sure they can keep the yanks at bay in the second half too and have a comfortable margin
im sure it will be cut down to like 4 or 5 games but i see the red sox taking the division

i really have this feeling, that the yankees will make a comeback for many reasons... if you look over couple of years, you will see that the yankees are unstoppable, curt schilling will not pitch that good at all after he comes back, dice-k, hes like randy johnson when he was on the yanks. if the way the yankees are hitting and the pitching performance now, they definetly will have a big chance

They should. Their deep enough, talent wise, and the schedule favores them in July and September.....Only 6 games left with the Yankees...A few with Toronto and Baltimore.... many still left to play against the D Rays though...but Tampa is struggling.

They will not because every year they start choking when it comes close to the post season like last year when they fell behind the blue jays

well as a Yankee fan i hope they don't but they have a great team and good pitching i think they Yankees can make a comeback but we will have to wait and see

Yes I think they will hold on to the lead. Unless something unforeseeable happens, they shouldn't go into a slump anytime soon.

i'm a yankee fan but i think the yankees only have a slim chance of coming back but you never know.
