You are so lucky to live in the world of increase in medical surgeries and helps for people. You don't have to live with oversized breasts anymore. First things first - if you are in the process of loosing weight, you might want to wait until you have reached your desired weight before going with the reduction procedure. You should be at a weight that you are happy with and are maintaining for a while. Second, consult your physician about the surgery. Most of them have a plethora of recommendations and doctor-friends who can consult with you and provide you with all the information you need to make this decision.
Your self-esteem should not suffer because of this issue. About a month ago, I watched several men discuss this surgery and (show the audience) the physicians who performed the surgery on Tyra Banks. You might access her website on this topic and see if there is available information there.
Finally, keep in mind that if you have excessive weight and do not exercise, you will have the flab. Sometimes only surgery can help. I wish you the best friend! Read up on the surgery and also do whatever you can to boost your self-esteem. I know that our bodies can be the cause of most of our ills about ourselves, but I have learned that you have to start loving who you are first - and allow any sugery or enhancement to 'help' you in the area of self-esteem. You will feel better, but self esteem and confidence should not be gained 'just' because you now have a better body. Feel good about you now. Good luck.

I suppose once you have lost all your excess weight then it would be a good idea. The procedure is called Gynecomastia or male breast reduction. As a woman who has had a breast reduction I sympathise with you but I know the self esteem that I now have is just incredible, and you would too.
Have a look at this site

There are before and after photos of actual patients plus a lot of other information.
Good luck

It's probably a medical condition that doesn't have anything to do with your weight. Check out this link:
www.gynecomastia.org
See your doctor for treatment options. If surgery is a good choice for you, and it would make you feel better, go for it.
