also, can someone help me solve the rational expression 5-y/(3y)^2 * 9y^2/y-5

3a^2 = (3)(a)(a)

y/(3y)^2 * 9y^2/y-5 = y/(y-5)

5-y/(3y)^2 * 9y^2/y-5

5-y/9y^2 * 9y^2/y-5

= 5-y/y-5 = 5-y/-(5-y) = -1

And 3a^2 is fully factored

3a^2 is already factorized, canot be done further.

i believe all you can do is ... a(3a) that's how far you can go.
