Here are a few things:
1. Drink at clubs and lounges - RAIN (PALMS casino) and PURE (Caesar's Palace) are amongst the best two clubs with the best dance floors, decor, and setup. There is also Tao (Venetian) and Tangerine (Treasure Island). You should load up a little on store bought liquor to cut down on the amount of overpriced drinks at clubs.
2. If you're into rides, then the roller coaster at NEWYORK NEWYORK casino is the best roller coaster in Vegas. There is also the Big Shot and INSANITY rides atop of the Stratosphere Casino (with the best views in the city, as good as a helicopter view).
3. Eat at buffets and other great restaurants. Buffets like Bellagio's or Wynn's have trancended the common buffet of stale food. They serve gourmet dishes like Kobe beef and hand made desserts. Great food, good service, clean and fun atmosphere. You'll definately enjoy this. There are also great buffets for cheaper at Monte Carlo and Luxor - great variety and best buffet for your dollar.
4. Watch the sunrise by staying up all night and partying and then seeing the drunks and broke gamblers barely make it back to their hotel rooms in the early morning. It is the quietiest time in Vegas, and a little relaxing. You can really see how Vegas can ruin you for those that you see are completely distraught over losing - but its a good way to keep your sanity while you there, which costs you nothing.
5. Go swimming and treat yourself to a massage. This will be fun. When you get out of the pool, you can feel the heat radiating on your back and your feet will feel warmer than getting out of the pool anywhere else. It feels good, and then getting a massage later will be the perfect way to settle into a fun night. Something about swimming in the heat as the sun is going down in the Vegas desert is relaxing and calming. This will cost little to nothing.
6. You can shop at the FORUM in Caesar's Palace or the Passage at the Hollywood Planet Casino. They have the widest selection and the nicest shops.
7. You can watch the fountains at Bellagio, the Fremont Street Light Show in downtown, and catch a Cirque Du Soleil show (such as KA at MGM Grand or 'O' at Bellagio - those are my favorite). Just enjoy yourself and have fun, dont plan out every little thing.
8. Tips for gambling - stay away from slots, unless you just want to kill some time or you really are not into table games. Play blackjack, but play in particular at the Las Vegas Club in downtown (best odds of any blackjack table in vegas) and play poker at the very late hours (after 2-3am) when the drunks and stragglers come in just waiting to dump money. When you bet on blackjack, try progressive style - you bet and if you win, double that bet - and keep doubling until you win 3 times in a row or lose a hand, then go back down your standard bet. I've won a lot this way very quickly.
Lucky you, have fun - wish I was going too. Hope this helps

The two websites below should be of some help. Lots of tips about all kinds of things. Search the sites thoroughly.
Celine Dion is still at Caesar's but this is the last year. Great show. Also, any Cirque de Soleil show will be excellent. Check at the websites below for who will be in town during your stay.
Seeing Fremont Street (Downtown) at night is fun. Take the Deuce bus to get there (very inexpensive. It runs up and down the strip. Find a stop and you should not have to wait more than 15 minutes.
Free stuff in town includes the Fountain show at Bellagio and the Volcano at Mirage. Lots of other free stuff too. If you like NASCAR, visit the NASCAR cafe at the Sahara. Nice NASCAR store there. If you want a great cheap meal, eat there and have the NASCAR Burger. It is terrific.
Only guaranteed way to win big is don't play, but what's the fun in that. Take along a set amount you feel you can lose. If you go home with any of it, you are lucky and have won big.

See the Cirque de Soleil. They're pretty amazing. And try to avoid all the expensive fancy buffets that practically every hotel on the strip has. You'll just come home 60 pounds heavier and have a much lighter wallet. Be sure to go to the Bellagio. It's like a mini city under a roof!

first take only money your gonna spend and whatever you do.. don't go to the ATM when your at Vegas..
gonna teach you a technique ..if you do it right you won't have to cut corners cuz you'll win money,
go to a rullet table..the ones that show what numbers came up... look for one that has at least 5 red or black number in a row.. most people will bet money on the oppositee color thinking opposit color is due up.. but put much money as possible on the same 5 color that came up before.. you'll win.. trust me.. after you doubled your money once at that casino don't gamble there again..you'll lose it back.
you have to go to a buffet .. your in vegas.

Best Show: People watching in front of the Bellagio or Mirage at night
Use Coupons. Plenty of them in magazines in your hotel room.
Gamble what you can stand to lose. Nothing more. When you win, cash out and leave immediatly.
