My teacher let's me get away with anything. Then one day i mess around in the hall and she says please don't mess around in the class it's very hard for me to yell at you. Then she sent me this message
"Once in awhile you meet someone that you really click with. For some reason, you seem to understand me pretty well. I feel like when I look at you, you can almost read my mind - very scary!
Anyway, I felt from the beginning of the year that we connected somehow. Like I said, it is VERY hard to explain. So I probably let you get away with way too much this past year.
I will miss having you in class next year, but not because of the whole teaching thing. You got my stupid sense of humor, and I will miss smirking. It was fun to get to know you - keep being you!"
i have no idea what she means

Since you're a girl and she's a woman, I hope there isn't anything sexual going on behind her words. Since she didn't say anything overtly sexual, there is no reason to complain about that, either. But let's assume she just thinks it's great you get her sense of humor - and that makes you seem to stand out in class - just take that as a compliment that she thinks you have to be smart to get her humor and that's a good thing.
Beware of any overtures to be more friendly - merely based on the difference in your ages, it's not a good idea to lessen the distance between teacher and student.

She enjoys having you as a student. Your probably the only few student who laugh at her jokes. Some how your present in class gives her comfort and joy that she is teaching. Maybe you remind her for some on like a daughter that's why she said its hard for me to yell at you. She could happy to know their are still good students out there.Don't worry, she is just saying she likes you.
she sounds like a nice teacher, I don't think you should get her in trouble or message back either. Unless she continue to make you feel uncomfortable.

It seems like she's trying to say something between the lines. It really sounds like she likes you more than a student or a friend. She might be lesbian and you have to be careful. On the other hand I would have to see how your relationship is to be able to figure out why she uses that kind of language and that tone toward you in the letter. Just be careful...

I think it is great that you "clicked" with your teacher however I think this teacher overstepped her boundaries in more ways then one. First, she should treat all students the same. Secondly, she should not be sending you this kind of email. I am afraid she wants more then friendship. She should be reported immediately and you should run the other way fast!!! You have your whole life ahead of you and right now your emotions and hormones are raging. Develop friends of your own age and stick with that. I hope everything goes okay with you.

It sounds like she is hitting on you, but trying to get out of it by putting in the teacher discipline thing. She is definitely crossing a line, teachers should not write a student messages like that.

Watch out for this. Those comments are entirely inappropriate for a teacher/student situation. Whatever you do, just behave and don't try to get away with anything. These situations can be explosive. Bewre. Clean up your act. Work hard and graduate!!!

Oh my gosh, get out of her class, move to the next grade, graduate, switch teachers, anything.... Your teacher is not mature enough to see that her message to you was inappropriate. If her superior saw that, she'd most likely be diciplined. Whatever she thinks she's hiding, she only made more obvious with this note.

I hope this teacher is a woman,I'm sure she just relates to you although I don't know the age gap. I 've had really cool teachers that had the same interests as I did and we got along great!

I don't know what she means, but this seems completely inappropriate for a teacher to send to a student in her class. It may be completely innocent, but it seems like to much "sharing" of her personal feelings to me. I think you should show your parents and see what they think. They might have a better sense of what this teacher is like.

I think she means you are what other students would call "her pet". She likes you, favors you, and you had nothing to do with it. All you can do is ask her not to treat you special, or just continue with your foolery. You can't do anything when the other person has made up their mind for good.
