May sound strange but my body ( midsection) seems to be sore from the inside. Like my rib cage and tummy muscles. I can feel the baby move ALL THE TIME...but its never painful. Is the baby causing this "internal bruising"? Anyone else have this problem? Thanks

Everything is being pushed around to make room, and the pressure and stretching can get very uncomfortable at times. A pillow under your tummy to support you at night may make you feel a lot better . I am sorry to tell you but it gets more uncomfortable as you progress but it is all worth it in the end.
The more kids you have the worse the little pains get as well.

I am also 26 weeks and I feel the same thing. This is the time when baby starts growing a lot faster and your tummy muscles get stretched faster. Its more or less that your muscles are sore from all of the expanding. I would say don't worry it gets better, but I don't know cause this is my first. Good Luck! If it feels too bad, take some tylenol, it will help a little.

Its not from the baby, but from the ever expanding uterus!!! Everything is being relocated to maje room, and the pressure and stretching can get very uncomforable at times. Do you have a body pillow to sleep with?A pillow under your tummy to support you at night may make you feel a lot better in the am.

When are you due? I'm 26 weeks too, due Oct. 12

I'm 26 weeks too! Due October 13th with my first baby. My ribs were killing me too, it comes and goes. Varies from day to day now. But I know it's just from my body making room for the little guy. Good luck!

Its just your muscles stretching and moving more for the baby to grow.. I am 33wks+3days... I have muscle aches from the inside out too.. They told me it is mostly just round ligament pain.. It's not bruising :p Just stretching :)
