CO2 levels were actually much higher back when dinosaurs were alive. Carbon dioxide is what the plants need to be green along with sunlight and water. The earth used to be much greener than it is now when CO2 levels were at their highest and jungles were thick with life. What do you have to say about that Mr. Gore?

Because it better fits the actual scientific data collected over the past thirty years. And because not all regions affected will experience warming -- according to most of the models, some will experience warming and some will experience cooling, even though the overall global trend will be warming.
Hedging your bets is a good label. Because it's easier to demonstrate that something will happen, but less sure as to what. So, use the label that is more inclusive, and fits both the facts and the predictive models more accurately.

Actually, 'Climate Change' was coined by Dick Cheney. He insisted the GOP and the white house use this term instead of Global Warming because it sounded less harsh and it became a way to water down the argument about what was actually going on that scientists have been talking about.

Because, while Global Warming is a phenomenon of increasing average global temperature, it may well lead to lower temperatures in some areas (possibly much lower in Europe and the NE USA, for instance). 'Climate Change,' though no more or less accurate, avoids the irony in a 'warming' trend possibly causing a 'mini-ice age.'

I am sure Gore would like for the term to be more like" You're All Going To Die If You Don't Listen To Me!" since his intention is to incite "Global Panic" . He is a drama queen who loves the attention this serious misrepresentation of the facts is getting him.

Because the melting ice at the Poles will cause extreme
weather, hot, cold, hurricanes, etc., at different places
on our planet.
It's people like you, that hear 'global warming' & think that
the whole planet will immediately heat up.
We think you need it spelled out as simply as possible.
But, if you're against a cleaner, healthier planet, I can
only imagine that you live in house with 20 people,
that hasn't been cleaned in a year.

They are covering their bets! The only thing for certain is that the climate will change! They really don't know which way!

It's more accurate. Do you still think it's not happening? Well good for you. You should give your real name and go on record so that if it turns out you are right about this, you can get credit for being so smart.

They had to change to Global Climate Change because they got caught in a Hoax.
(But it's still a HOAX, no matter what name they use.)
