There is a huge number of unemployed Brits who have no job by virtue of the fact that they don't want one or are plain unemployable. If others wish to step into the vacancies this has created, then good luck to them. Because of their better work ethic they will not stay on the bottom rung of the employment ladder for long but will succeed and prosper, leaving the lazy Brits behind to blame their misfortunes in life on immigrants and asylum seekers. There is also much misplaced stereotyping of all immigrants and asylum seekers as menial or manual workers. Many, in fact, are highly skilled or with professional qualifications. They are filling the gap left by our "brain drain". I would say that jobs should be given to those who are willing and/or qualified to do them.

No, of course not. I'm a legal immigrant and find the whole deal completely and utterly unfair. Legal immigrants such as myself have followed rules, regulations, laws, and gone through extensive education at Universities. Granted, I'm no longer going to stay in the states because I have found a phenomenal job in London doing corporate business law -- but still, I don't agree with giving jobs no one wants to immigrants (especially illegal) and asylum seekers. It's not a hate reason -- it's more or less, what is the logistics behind it? If immigrants wants a low paid unskill job, then be a legal immigrant, follow the rules, then do it.

Immigrants and asylum seekers go to countries to escape their own.

So they escape their country of war and terror to another one where they will be treated less than ants.

If I had children I sure as hell wouldn't want them growing up in war and poverty. I'd try to move to a free country..... then I get hounded for wanting my family to be free when YOU in the first place do not OWN a country, you live there, you are an immigrant as well. maximum of those so-called "hand-outs" are centred on the undesirable. through fact almost a million/4 of the inhabitants of African human beings stay under the poverty point, we income from the help. in case you have not considered the "hand-outs", then you rather curiously do not % them. do not knock what's the life line for many suffering human beings in spite of race. so a approaches as loose funds for college, all and sundry who's acquainted with the device can get loose funds. i.e I attended Jacksonville college (that's a private college) for 4 years with an in-state training at good around $16K in step with 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. back, it rather is in-state w/out room and board. My scholarship is 70%. I purely had to get a private loan over the span of four years for roughly 2 grand. the money is on the marketplace for all and sundry prepared to get it.

The reason people don't want these jobs is because of ILLEAGLE EMPLOYEERS

A working person's employeer should be paying unemployment tax, 1/2 of the SS, Federal Income tax, Workmans comp, and some sort of health insurance

Since they don't American workers are paying over $95 Billion a year for their health care, They steal, SS numbers It cost about $2,000,000 for each stolen card ~ That money is coming out of our pocket. Looses your credit rating and raises interest rates

The IMMIGRANTS are the only ones applying for these jobs!!! Offer any group of unemployed youths from 16 years upwards and see how many you get putting their hand up for it!! Locally here there are many Polish/Russian and other nationalities in jobs now that were advertised for MONTHS with no local interested people! The Farmers HAD to advertise in Europe to get their crops picked....if you have a problem with immigrants doing these jobs...don't start a hate campaign against them....start a hate campaign against the lazy sods here on the dole or job seekers allowance who just can't be bothered to get out and do a job....any job.....to get on in life!!

thats not a bad idea but i know some asylum seekers albanians,kosovans,russians and cheqs that all work we would be far better off making the lazy b**s****s that that think we owe them a living do all the low paid and really dirty jobs or cut/stop their social we have paid enough , and if that happens maybe our taxes would be cut, believe me asylum seekers are nnot our worst enemy.
