ive been looking for best rates, deciding either Atlas or thru travelocity advantage or hertz aer lingus....THANKS

Try some of these local car rental companies as well as the big brands - they're both decent and well known within Ireland.

and try a few online car hire brokers for their rates - they act as brokers for the big brands except their rates are often much better ( sounds daft but who cares if you can save a buck). So you get the same car from the same guys but often (not always) at a better rate.

Also if you're coming from the USA and have a Gold Mastercard then you can decline the CDW insurance as you card should cover you for this in Ireland (worth confirming with your credit card company to be 100% sure). That might save you a bundle

I can recommend hertz, my sister used to work for them and she said she would use them if she had to rent a car.. they have been here for a long time and have a huge range of rental cars and people carriers compared to the hatchbacks that most other companies offer

Yes dont touch Atlas , bad expriences , expensive , old cars, no AC, terrible customer care , i reccromend Hertz
