Simplify. Help please, I am really struggling and I have a test over this stuff in a week!

Factor first x^2 + 3x + 2 = (x+1)(x+2)
5x + 10 = 5(x+2)
then (x+1)(x+2) / 5(x+2) = (x+1) / 5 for all x not = -2

X^2+3x+2 / 5x+10
(x+2)(x+1) / (5(x+2))
(x+1)/5

X^2+3x+2 / 5x+10
is not the same as
(x^2+3x+2) / (5x+10)
The first one would be difficult to simplify.

[ x^3 + ( 15 x ^2 + 2 ) + 10x ] / 5x
[ x^3 + 15 x ^2 + 10 x + 2 ]/ 5x

(x+2)(x+1)/5(x+2)
(x+2) cancels
(x+1)/5
Also x must not equal -2
