the only rap ive listened to is on mtv lmao first off ive listened to hundreds of rappers that probably havent appeared on mtv 2. i don't watch mtv 3. i do occasionally listen to rap from the 80's because it is tolerable at times 4. rap now a days has no original thought to it

The irony is that more and more "rockers" are collaborating with more and more "hip-hop" artists. So what does that say of those "people who actually play an instrument and have some talent"? Hip-Hop artists aren't retarded.It takes a skill to do what they do as well. Now there are some stupid songs out there but that's on both sides. So my answer is 1-3. 2 only if you mean rap like Run DMC or Common!

Just because the only 'rap' you've heard is the crap they throw down your throat on MTV doesn't mean that 'rappers' are not talented artists.
Obviously since your taste is so limited that you have already written off all hip-hop music, the 'rock' you listen to probably sucks balls too.
MOST respectable 'rock' artists actually realize the validity of hip-hop and vice-versa. The same ought to be true of the fans. You don't HAVE to like both, but there is no Rock Vs Rap, except to blind retards. Have some respect for things that you don't understand.

Um Rap is much more important then "retards attempting Poetry". Obviously you dont know music to hate on Rap like that. You dont think rap artist arent talented? What about Dr. Dre who spits the hottest rhymes, and makes the best beats, or The Roots, who have one of the most greatest drummer of all time, and have the best lyrics.
