Please, if possible, just list your TOP favorite-- your creme de la crop, the anime you most highly recommend!
And tell me why you like it. I ask this because I'm looking for another anime to watch... I've already finished watching Twelve Kingdoms, Rurouni Kenshin, Last Exile, Dragon Ball & DBZ, Wolf's Rain, Hellsing, Full Metal Panic, and DN Angel.
Just to let you know (for these series have animes made of them), I've finished reading Fruits Basket, and am reading the ongoing Naruto manga.

My most favorite anime that I love and adore is the entire Saiyuki series. I love the very unique main characters of this show. It is full of action, comedy and drama. Also, it does not hurt having the main characters good looking men too (eye candy for the ladies like me!).
I would recommend reading the manga first though. The artwork by Kazuya Minekura is simply breathtaking and she KNOWS how to draw a man!!!

Blood+
-strong and compelling storyline
-great and plenty of character developments
-have the coolest theme songs in an anime
-the main protagonist is very similar to me so I can relate to her
-love the conflict of emotions amongst the characters and the complicated relationships between them
-cool action scenes and romance

Sailor Moon
first anime I've ever seen, love the love story and it's about hope friendship love courage and just growing and being yourself, I love Sailor Moon
stay far away from the English version after ep 65 voice talents weren't so great

i highly recomend Shaman King if you like things about ghosts and fighting. Spiral is good too if you like dectetive stuff and problem solving, Case Closed also. Full Metal Alchemist is pretty good, as Inuyasha. what ive seen of Bleach is good too and Ouran High School Host Club is also pretty good what ive seen of it and Tsubasa. open your mind to all kinds of anime you never know if your not gonna like something unless you give it a try ^-^

I LOVE GHOST IN THE SHELL why? : Because it isnt just girls playing with boys with swords it the major (girl) kicking ***(evrybodyelse), plus politics and toher stuff included, its kinda hard to follow cause if goes so fast but thats the fun of it, you have to keep focused to know whats going on.

its on adult swim on cartoon network sometime around 1 to 2 am
