IMO, as a former depo user for four years, it is TERRIBLE.
Though some women do not have any issues with this shot, MANY MANY women do have problems with it.
Just google "depo provera reviews" and "depo provera lawsuit". There is also a site on RateItAll that shows just how many users have been affected negatively by this shot.
I will never ever ever recommend this shot for anyone. The side affects are horrible.

No. If you have a bad reaction to it, then you are stuck with it in your system for five months. If you don't want to mess with a pill every day, try the nuva ring. It the best I have used. I hear there is something wrong with the patch and people are sueing. Ask about NuvaRing.

Depo didnt work for me. Honestly, I havent heard of any women that it worked well for. The worst part is that as soon as you realize it wont work, you have to deal with it until it wears off!
