Let's compare some numbers here, kid.

The NYSE lost over 1.2 Trillion dollars on 9/11. I know "thousand" "and "Trillion" both start with "T"s but it's a very important distinction. Now, If you take 1.2 Trillion dollars and spread that equally over 300 million Americans, that's about 4000 dollars per American over the course of a week.

Let's compare that to 12 billion that was spent on the war last month. 12B/300M=$40

Yes, $40 per month for the war. And if you're too stingy to contribute $40/month to try to keep 25 million Iraqis from plunging into another century of tyranny, then you are a disgrace to the American spirit.

How come I can total your 20 thousand dollar vehicle with a 3 dollar hammer? How come it costs so much to fight a wild fire when someone can start it for the cost of a one dollar disposable lighter?

Your question has no logic - aside from the fact that years of planning and four jumbo, multimillion dollar jets cost significantly more than 10 thousand dollars - the costs comparison really have nothing that's comparable.

The 9/11 attacks cost much more than 10k. Try more like 100's of thousands.

You can't even compare the two. One is 19 guys training and planning to off themelves in planes. The other is 100's of thousands of troops, logistical support and other stuff to support an occupation.

What's your point-- they're not even comparable.

Hmmm. That's a toughie. Hmmm. Maybe because America has to support it's military overseas with food, shelter, vechicles, medical care, and weapons whereas the 16 9/11 hijackers needed plane tickets and boxcutters. But, that's just me.

I even have been offended over Iraq for a while, yet I even have been afflicted by making use of the added problem of what might comprise a precipitous withdrawal. we've a tiger by making use of the tail, and we ought to get a muzzle on it before we permit bypass, or it is going to turn and consume us alive. It became the incorrect conflict on the incorrect place on the incorrect time. we ought to continuously have performed the interest in Afghanistan before we took on the "Saddam project." regardless of the undeniable fact that, that's what that's. we are able to not purely pull out, regardless of the undeniable fact that it hurts like hell to observe the persisted destruction and the discomfort our youthful ladies and men are coping with as they lose pals or their independence to traumatic injuries. It hurts to attempt to convenience the neighbor whose son became killed. i don't % our brave squaddies to proceed to die. i % an go out strategies-set, not "throw good funds after undesirable" continuation of the present "strategies-set." we can ought to proceed with the 12.5 billion income step with month for a on an identical time as, yet a PLAN to decrease that quantity and the accompanying destruction is important and mandatory to cleansing up the mess we are presently in.
