hello all, my friend sold me a set of Rims which is came from a 2001 bmw m3. Are these rims compatible with a 1998 lexus gs400? If not, is there anyway that i can do to make compatible? thanks in advance....

No. They won't fit. The M3 comes with wider rear wheels/tire and narrower front wheels/tire.

For this single reason alone (nevermind about bolt pattern and wheel offset), they will not fit.

These rims probably wont fit and there is nothing that can be done to change them.
Most all BMW rims/hubs use the rare 120X5 bolt pattern. I can't think of another make or model of car that uses this pattern. The wheels being staggered won't make a difference unless the rear is too wide for the wheel well.

they either fit or they dont. first, make sure the bimmer's wheels have the same number of lug nuts as your car does. then make sure the lugs are the same distance apart as on your car. you also need to make sure the offset is compatible with your car (how much in or out the center of the wheel is away from the front).

what would you do if they weren't? something you should have thought of ahead of time.............
