Dang, hun. You need to find some work you don't completely hate. You have 7 years under your belt, that's real good. You want to leave on good terms. Try and take some classes. It could motivate you because you're working for a future you don't hate everyday. Talk to your boss, if you can, about tuition reinbursment and working around your school scheduele. Update your resume, take classes, and look for student/work oppurtunities with that school. You'll be a student with real world experience seeking a better oppurtunity. Potential employers love that kind of thing.

Nothing is wrong with you as a matter of fact you are normal-and like myself it sounds like you have become too normal-so be adventurous-seek new boundaries....a job is just a job
a dime a dozen-& you only have one life to live-make the best of it find something new & different just for the change-who knows you may meet interesting people along the way - stop being so normal change things up a lil bit if you want to keep your sanity. Try to remember how you felt a decade ago & forget what people think. I am 27 years old as well & bored with being normal-you helped me answer my own question as well in talking to you & i have decided to get my tongue pierced-just to change things up ...a lot.....

Good luck & have fun.

Ask yourself:

What do you hate about your job? The work itself? The organization you work for? What would you change?

What do you really want to do?

If you feel you've outgrown your work, you could see what other positions within that company are open. If your boss is trustworthy, talk to him/her about taking on new responsibilities.

You might consider going to college, at least part-time, studying a subject you really love. Or you could take an adult or continuing education class.

Your company might help pay for your college, especially if you train for a new position with them. Ask about this at your human resources department. Good luck and God bless!

Envision yourself in this same rut 10 years from now. If that doesn't inspire change, nothing will.
