What are all the ways you can become pregnant?

Of course there is intercourse, but there are also other ways I'm just not sure the names of the procedures and what is involved.

IUI - intrauterine insemination, also known as artificial insemination. this is where the sperm is injected into the uterine cavity with a catheter, during the time of ovulation.

IVF - invitro fertilization. this is where the egg is harvested from the ovaries, the sperm is introduced to the egg and fertilizes it. when the egg and sperm fertilize the product is an embryo. when the embryo is 3 days old, it is transferred back inside the uterus with the hopes that it will implant. usually more then one embryo are transferred back, if available.

There are other procedures that go along with IVF.
ICSI - intracytoplasmic sperm injection. an individual sperm is injected into an egg to ensure fertilization, then tranferred back like IVF.

AH - assisted hatching. this is where the fertilized embryo is given a "headstart" by having part of the outer shell of the embryo removed to help the cells of the embryo to split.

Are you trying to ask about artificial insemination, or do you think there are other things besides sex that men and women can do that can lead to pregnancy?

Because intercourse is pretty much it, unless something new has been added since my last was born...

In vitro fertilization is another way that you can/may become pregnant. The "science" of things is done outside of your body, and then implanted into your uterus to continue to (hopefully) live birth(s). It is possible to use someone else's uterus for your fertilized eggs, or someone else's eggs if yours arent "usable." This is surrogacy.
