politics and religion are very different fields though some people think of them in the same mush-brained way.

You can live your whole life devoid of religion without much harm apart from being harassed by religious people.

On the other hand, if you ignore politics, it could be harder for you to get an education, go to the doctor, buy a house, make a decent living, or have the freedom to believe what you want. Politics can even get you jailed or killed if you don't pay attention.

We all want to take the easy way out sometimes about something. Some people don't want to think for themselves because it's easier to just accept what soemone else is telling you, but that doesn't make them week. it does make them lazy and maybe a little scared, but we are all scared of something. As far as lazy goes, when was the last time you saw a tv without a remote?

I'm an Athiest and a Libertarian, and I think the only weak minded people are the ones who "bash" people who have convictions.

(Don't get me wrong, I don't think anyone should be force fed beliefs)

this entire element is the different way up and in simple terms undeniable incorrect. the only element the founding fathers had to do replaced into make confident the government did no longer declare any faith because of the fact the "state faith". it truly is all that total element ability. that's what they escaped from in England. As for his or her own non secular ideals, the two Washington and Jefferson declared themselves to be "Deists". meaning they suspect in God yet no longer guy's teachings approximately God nor government mandated faith.

The radio program? I don't think it is for weak minded people, rather very religious people. I listen to it sporadically, though I don't take every word they say to heart.

Not at all... it takes guts to actually have faith in something.
Do you know how many matyrs there have been for religion?
You must have a strong mind to beleive so much in your religion to die for it.
