I don't know that anyone can really answer that with a yes or no, though I've considtantly heard that seeing them live is better than on TV. I've heard several people say it was the best thing they've ever seen, and I've heard from the other camp, to which I belong, that it was the most mind-numbingly ridiculous piece of crap even endured. After about forty minutes of it on the tube I was ready to shoot myself.

I saw them in Las Vegas at Venetian (Blue Man Theater) in May this year. It was absolutely amazing!!!! The best show I have seen. Splurge and buy a ticket in the front, you will see what I'm talking about.

Absolutely! They are awesome! I went and not only is it so exciting, but it can also be hilarious at times. Since they never talk, they only bang stuff and throw things. Plus some of the audience usually gets wet from all of the cool stunts and acts they do. Plus it's very crowd interactive, they call people onto the stage to do cool activities. Plus the actual music and drumming they do is really amazing! GO SEE IT!!!!!!

I loved it!
Audience participation!
My friend was designated the Twinky girl.
We had so much fun!

There's a good reason why an off-Broadway show as such...is still around after all these years. Yes, it is worth seeing. I saw them at their NYC venue. It is much smaller, so more intimate. If possible, I would aim to experience it here.

blue man group was awesome. i definitely recommend it to anyone who is into abstract art and comedy, and there is still a big chance that someone who doesn't appreciate those things would still have a great time.
i would see them in a smaller theatre if i were you though. it gives more of a personal experience and allows them to do more really cool stuff.

Its definitly worth it, I saw them on the Tv on a special once and they were awsome, I felt like acually going there but I couldn't because I had to travel during the time that they were going to be in the state where my mom lives in.

Yes I think they are worth seeing. I saw them in Vegas.

They're funny, a little bit weird but not too strange. Very loud, they're back-up band was great but my ears were still ringing 24 hours later.

My husband and I saw them a few years ago in NYC. It was a lot of fun. There is a little audience participation and if you sat in the first few rows you were given rain jackets. I would recommend them! Have fun!
