If my grandma wanted into a jar of pickles bad enough she would sooner get her gun and shoot the lid off then get someone to go out of their way to help her. She is real independent. So my answer is no my grandma would'nt ever ask me to come open a jar of pickles for her. and she only ever eats at Mcdonalds anyways. So the situation will never come up.

Why not? Now, if you had asked if I would WALK 10 miles to open a jar of pickles for dear ol' granny...the answer would be different.
Granny is capable of living without pickles.

You bet I would...it would give me the chance to see them once again because they've been gone now for 23 and 17 years, and I miss them. But I would if they were alive, too.

I'd drive 100 if it meant I could see my grandmother again.

If either of my grandmothers were alive, and one of them needed me to go to their home and help with anything, I certainly would.
