think about it. their teeth and jaw structures are made to GRIP. the average dog takes a bite out of your skin; whereas, the pit bull takes the WHOLE BONE!!
how many more maimings of human life are there going to be before legislature make these vicious creatures ILLEGAL??!!
p.s. i know, i know. some people are going to be avid pitbull lovers; unfortunately, MOST of the people who own pit bulls do so to intentionally make them mean!!
if they were ever close to MY KIDS, i would feed them a rat-poison steak!!

They are a tough-looking dog. I'm not sure about them. I wouldn't allow my kids to be close to one.

Yes, as you said most pit bulls are taught to be vicious by their OWNERS. If that's the case, shouldn't the owner be the one responsible? You take a pit bull and raise it properly, socialize it as much as you can, and raise it with kids; it will be a great dog. If you take a pit bull and you tease it, teach it to bite, teach it everything it needs to be able to maul...to kill and you'll have a dangerous dog on your hands. Look at a face of a pit bull puppy and tell me you're already scared of it because of the potential it has in the hands of the wrong owners.

The reason they're basically the only dog breed you ever hear about killing is because they've already been labeled a killer...a dangerous breed...but honestly, they're just dogs that are doing what they were taught to please their OWNERS..the very people they love.
If you think pit bulls are so vicious and don't deserve to be treated like every other breed, look again...this is what HUMANS did to this loving breed.

You can teach any dog to be vicious. A beloved golden retriever can be taught to be vicious because it wants to please it's owner. It's not the pit bull's fault. It's the humans who turn them into monsters, and people like that really make me wonder what kind of society we live in today.

I, for one, love pit bulls. I used to walk a pit bull mix. He did come from a shelter and had a few issues, but he was one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met, and guess what. He lived with KIDS. Yes, KIDS. Three of them and they were all under 10 years of age. Did this pit bull maul them? Absolutely not; he adored them. On one walk, we came across this little girl who came up to pet him; did he chew her arm off? No; he stood there and let her pet him. He wasn't a monster because he was in the hands of good owners, not ignorant ones. Don't blame the breed for the problems humans cause.

Do you know how extreme what your saying is? True, there are some pit bull owners that deliberately make them aggressive, but the vast majority raise them as pets. Think about this, if pit bulls commonly attacked people, then would it be on the news when they did it?
It WOULDN'T be on the news if it was common. That's exactly what I'm saying.

If you ever came close to me or my pitbull i'd shove that rat-poison steak down your throat.
Pitbulls dont kill people, stupid people who dont keep their pets on a leash and have their kids go near them are the ones asking for it.
My mom always told me don't go near or play with a dog i don't know or is too big and especially UNLEASHED!

I had a Pit and it was the most loving thing I ever seen .
They get really jealous though and want all of the attention.
So dont judge by looks.

Not all pitbulls are like that, they're only vicious if they're trained to be. The pitbulls my friends have are the nicest dogs ever.
