It's pretty scary actually. A guy with a 111 IQ is still smarter than 75% of the country. This is probably the reason so many argue he's not dumb. To them, he's not! This is all fine and dandy for your average sales clerk or ditch digger, but the President of the United States needs a little more under the hood than the counter guy at Wendy's.
Note Clinton's 136 IQ. Look at column I-U. Ignore the other three. They list unrealistically high estimates or corrections (for everyone, not just Bush II).

No people, this isn't the made up crap that listed ridiculous IQs in the 170's and 180's for Democrats and an IQ of 91 for Bush. These are real estimates published by a real scholar in a real journal. They range from a low of 108 for Harding to a high of 165 for John Qunicy Adams. There are no ridiculous numbers here. No president in the last 150 years is given either an unbelievably high or unbelievably low IQ. This is real data!

Bush isn't dumb, that's not the issue. This line of attack is foolish and ignores Bush's pathologies and belief systems which are the real problem.
Also the source seems pretty dubious to me. The figures are "estimates". I figure Bush's IQ to be around 120.
A President should have an above average IQ but should also have broad knowledge and understanding of the world, flexibility, courage to change his mind, empathy, emotional intelegence, integrity, be reasonably well adjusted -- things Bush is lacking in.

Problem is the supposed IQ scores are made up the site that gave them is non-existent and if you look at the scores you see it is a political leaning site with only Democrats at the top of the IQ charts.

His IQ is "low average"..... that's what sad...that there are so many dumbells in this country.
No wonder we have to bring in Indian and Asian citizens on visas to work in the high tech industry in our country.
We have raised a couple of generations of high school dropout, uneducated or undereducated boobs who barely have minimum skills to be a laborer.
