I think the biggest over the last few years is getting us into this war in Iraq. (no doubt dems have some responsibility here too.)
They have increased the national debt by hundreds of billions of dollars to get us into this mess.
We stopped chasing Osama Bin Laden, and decided to go after Saddam who had nothing to do with 9/11.
Honestly, the Repubilcans seem to have abandoned the true conservative principles. If they remained truly "conservative" we would not have gone to war witn Iraq, and increased the national debt by hundreds of billions of dollars.

They chose GW as their candidate.
They could have picked John McCain,
but I wonder if things would be different now.
