For a good college to learn Dutch you need to go to Leiden Universiteit. That's the best of the best as far as I know.

Have a look:

and the second choice is go to UVA (Universiteit Van Amsterdam).

but if you think it's too far from Utrecht you can try to go to
ROC. And ask for NT2 course.

You can meet me and try to make a nice conversation since Dutch also my second languages.

If you live in the country, all the people in your street can talk with you.
There are Dutch language schools in Utrecht too, and most likely also in the smaller towns near it.
If you get stuck, as at the University, as they often get students from abroad who need a quick course. So they know where you can go too.

To meet up with Dutch people, volunteer for something, like helping elderly people, a church group, scouting, your local community hall ('buurthuis') or the summer day camp (or building activities for children,) mostly run by the community hall or the local 'speeltuin'.

And once you get your basic Dutch, try not to speak English anymore. Just pretend you do not speak it at all, that is the only way to learn to speak Dutch.

And sorry, although I would like to have a 'lekkere conversatie', I live too far away and am too busy.

The best advice I can give you is this: don't believe the propaganda about how difficult Dutch is to learn. There're are a whole lotta unintelligent people who speak fluent Dutch. But seriously though, about six or seven times a day someone will say to you 'Dutch is a difficult language' or 'It's difficult to learn Dutch' etc. Ignore Ignore Ignore. It's their sweet way of trying to discourage you while at the same time boosting their own self-esteem for having mastered such a 'difficult' language. Zelfstudie! Just watch a lotta tv, the simpler the better. Repeat the sentences. Get some second hand books. Jump on in!

There are language school to teach you proper Dutch. There is a very good one in Spa, in Belgium. You have to be serious though. By the way, there is not such a thing as a lekker convisation. The word lekker means delicious, you probably mean leuke.

at first, you need to discover a community speaker of the language you want to learn. you could study books all you like, yet its never going to be almost as good as getting it from the horses mouth. So, start up conversing to foreigners, make a lot of foreign places buddies, have a foreign places bf (or gf is u are a boy)....and that way u will keep your self a international of money on books that dont artwork, plus, you could prepare everytime u see that individual, and not purely learn the language, yet learn the variety of existence.

As an Anglo Saxon language you should be able to pick it up quickly. Most Dutch people can speak English, willing to help and you do not need to go to college unless you want to take the exam.
