It would require a repeal of the statute whereby the US joined the UN. That requires a majority vote of both the House and Senate, with presidential approval, or a super-majority to override a veto.
As to whether Congress would do that, probably not. The UN is too good a justification for being able to do things that the US wanted to do, but would otherwise be a violation of international law.

LOL The USA is the UN. The UN building in New York is the property of the USA. Second, We pay about 80% to 90 % of all UN expences.
So, to answer your question we need to searve an eviction notice to the occupents of the UN building. Second, stop the money. If we do this the UN falls apart. Very simple process.

Why in the world would we want to? We're the host nation. All the other nations come to the US to meet & discuss their differences so that war is averted. The US gains much prestige in having the UN Headquartered in New York. Would you rather the world met in say, Moscow, Beijing or Mexico City??
