I used to be, but unlike common belief of just picturing the audience in their underwear. I would focus on a couple of people that actually looked interested and make it like we we're just having a conversation and draw them into giving me feedback. Of course, normally they were good looking women in low cut tops! lol

Ive done quiet a bit of public speaking-particularly when Im 1/2 pissed!haha

Didn't think I would be, but once all those eyes turned to look at me, I got through that speech at some speed! Never again. It was at work, in front of around 130 people

I think ppl being afraid to speak started in highschool, when i got to college things got easier, more mature ppl in class.

No, I was one of those geeks who loved getting up for that sort of thing. Later, I won various speech contests, including one that got me a trip to Ottawa. (I'm Canadian.)

Now, I'm a teacher, so I have to get up in front of people and talk.

yes, i was the most nervous one! in 2nd grade i was taken to the doctor and had to do a bunch of test because I kept vomitting all the time only...in the end they found out it was because of nervousness.

Not at all. Talking to a large group of people comforts me, because I know they have to listen to what I have to say!

No but my knees don't share that--they shake like crazy while the rest of me is just fine. I don't know whose knees these are.
