i have not had a period since the second of march, i went to doc he tested my thorid and hormones and stuff and they were are normal. he prescribed the pill but cant start taking it till i get my period. im twenty and not sexually active so not pregnant, every month at the same time i get all the symptoms of my periods eg stomach cramps which are really sore and i cant walk when i get them and have to lie down, these last for bout a week i also get back pain and bloating but i never bleed. can anyone help me?

I would recommend getting another opinion, preferably from someone not in the same office of the dr that you currently see. A consultation to an endocrinologist (a doctor that treats diseases and disorders that involve hormones) could be a good place to start as well to help figure out what could be causing your problems. One thing I've learned from ladies on other support lists and also my own dr is that not all primary care drs will run the full panel of thyroid tests to truly find out what's wrong.

But there is definitely something going on although the tests that have been done so far have shown nothing wrong.
