That starlight isn't light: that what you see as stars is actually something else.
I made the claim. But then, I proceeded to prove that coherent light does not travel between stars, and that what you see as stars could not possibly be what you have been told that it is. Then I explained how starlight actually gets here.

When I published it last year, I felt a high school level physics enthusiast could easily read it, but last weekend re-read it and found it may not be so easy. There's simply a lot to grasp, and I think most people read too fast to retain it.
Sooo, if you are brave and have a few evenings to devote to alternative thought, then wade on in. If you don't study physics, then you will be at it for a while.

It really is a lot of fun - especially because the big items are presented in the form of proofs (which means they are real), not theories, and all of the evidence I present is every-day stuff you can check. No math! I even ignore the standard denotations of time - and I am presenting conceptual physics! The contents are awesomely most heretical in the physics world.

Wow, tough question. I think reflexology or chiropractic are some pretty good ones. Same with anyone who starts to talk about toxins in the body or how everything natural is good.

EDIT: Chem trails are a real doozy. 9/11 conspiracies too. Basically anything that gives the government more credit than it deserves.

Re: funniest woo woo story

That "God" actually had any doing with humans coming into being on this planet.

Don't get me wrong; there's a super omnipresent being out there somewhere...but that's not why we're here.

Cryptozoology, these people want to be taken seriously. Not only by the woo-woo public but by scientists. They search and search and still bigfoot and nessie elude them.Every once in awhile a new insect, bird or even a deer is discovered. Then they really get energized."See we told you so"they say. There's much we have left to discover.Off into the woods they go,with bigfoot just over the horizon. They're sure of it.

I'm going to go with "Indigo children". It would be funnier if it wasn't a sad commentary on today's parenting.
